Addicted to Amazon

Four Hundred Fourteenth Post: Addicted to Amazon

I have to confess. I have an addiction to Amazon. I find on interesting subject on the web, say .Net programming and figure, “Hey I could do that if I only had a book.” But that itself would not be a problem. That is if I hadn’t done that 500 times.

Sure I learn a lot, but I have more junk then I could ever use. I buy something and then Amazon says, “Those who have bought this also like this, this, and this.” And I buy it.

I was studying cryptology months ago and I bought a book on programming cryptography. I can’t make sense of it. It has 3 chapters just on how to program for hundred digit numbers.

I’m sure it is good for the economy, but I have to cut back. It is an expensive addiction. Starting today I will not order anything else until I definitely need something. I will keep you informed of my status.
